SR2 is a socially responsible recruitment firm based in Bristol. A new player on the block, it is disrupting the recruitment market, focusing on staff wellbeing to attract the best talent.

The Challenge

Founder Chris Sheard approached us in the run up to the launch of SR2, looking for website content that would help differentiate the brand and attract recruitment consultants to help him build his team.

“We had zero content at that point - I didn’t even know what the website was going to look like,” he says. “But I knew that to start with we wanted to position ourselves to attract recruitment consultants first and candidates and businesses second.”

 

The Website

We held a briefing session to establish SR2’s positioning, offering and personality as well as their target market and the results they wanted to get from the site. From this we developed the key messaging, voice and language - including a strapline: “Specialist IT recruitment without the ego” - and used this to create the website content.

Chris says: “I’d never worked with a copywriter before but I know that I can waffle - I take far too long to get to the point - so I needed someone to help me focus.”

The Result

SR2 launched with a team of four; within 15 months they have grown the team to 10.

“The copy that Rin Hamburgh & Co wrote was on brand and to the point,” says Chris. “We hardly tweaked anything in the first draft. We’ve gone from four of us to 10 in the space of 15 months. The website has definitely done what we wanted it to.”
